    I am a current 9th grade student and deputy college leader for my school. This year my aim is to make people aware that your voice matters in all aspects of life, whether it be about the way that assignments are being handled, or the security of schools, your voice will always be valued, even if you want to make a small change, it could be a big difference for other students who also feel the same way.

    I’m a Year 12 student with a deep passion for community advocacy, personal development, and social impact. I am particularly focused on healthcare, disability support, and empowering individuals to live more independent lives. Outside of my studies, I mentor young people, speak at events to raise awareness about disability, and am involved in initiatives aimed at creating positive change. As a future business leader, I’m committed to using my voice and experiences to support others and drive meaningful progress.

    Zac is an award-winning human rights advocate with a culturally and linguistically diverse background, who champions for different causes in consumer and carer representation in healthcare, disability and carer support, climate change, youth empowerment, gender equality, multicultural and ethnic advocacy as well as diplomacy and international affairs.

    By volunteering in different capacities with a variety of organisations, he has developed a broad range of knowledge and skills through my participation in a diverse portfolio of projects conducted by authorities at all three levels of government in Australia, universities and non-governmental organisations, which he would like to contribute to the work of the board.

    Passionate about education equity, youth empowerment, and meaningful policy change, I actively engage in student leadership and advocacy. As a DOVES Council Member, I work alongside policymakers and have spoken in Parliament to represent student voices on issues like syllabus reform and mental health initiatives.
    I am dedicated to creating equitable opportunities in education, ensuring that all students—regardless of background—have access to the resources and support they need to thrive.
    Beyond advocacy, I host a podcast exploring philosophy, literature, history, and political themes. Whether it’s leading discussions, challenging inequities, or fostering community-driven solutions, I am committed to making a lasting impact.

    Rhys is an enthusiastic student advocate, passionate about driving positive change within his community. With a strong focus on education and the challenges faced by regional and rural students, Rhys serves as a Head Prefect on his school’s leadership council and actively contributes to various youth groups and forums at both state/territory and national levels. Committed to empowering students, Rhys strives to ensure that regional and rural perspectives are heard, valued, and acted upon in decision-making spaces. Beyond advocacy, Rhys has a deep interest in history and conflicts, finding inspiration in understanding past events to shape a better future.

    Angel, a former school captain and current Year 7 student at a selective high school in New South Wales, is passionate about improving student well-being, inclusivity, and access to quality education. Balancing her academic pursuits with her love for karate, Angel applies the discipline and resilience she has gained from the sport to her leadership and advocacy efforts. She is dedicated to promoting student voices and driving positive, inclusive initiatives that benefit the entire school community.

    Clem is a student at a democratic high school in Queensland, where student agency, student voice and student governance shape daily life. Thriving in an environment that values autonomy, flexibility and fluidity, he enjoys shaping his own learning and having a real say in how things are run.

    A passionate advocate for inclusion, Clem fosters a school culture that celebrates neurodiversity, gender identity and the full spectrum of human attraction. He champions a world where people are free to be themselves.

    A creative maker, Clem loves designing clothing and costumes, using performance to challenge perspectives, and interacting with all the animals on the family farm. Clem is always creating something meaningful.

I love empowering others to find their hidden potential and raise their unique voices. By being part of the Australian Council for Student Voice, I aim to live out my passion through my values and make a meaningful impact on Australian’s lives.     My name is Bella, and I am a year 10 student from a school in Victoria. As a leader, I am passionate about inspiring and empowering students across Australia I believe that by fostering creativity, inclusivity, and open communication, we can make a positive impact on our communities. I want to help others realize their potential and encourage them to take on leadership roles, just as I have. These experiences have made me a more confident and empathetic leader, and I’m excited to bring my skills and passion to the Student Advisory Board. My love for English has taught me the importance of clear communication, whether it’s presenting ideas, listening to others, or writing effectively. These skills have helped me guide group discussions and support my peers. Music, on the other hand, has taught me about discipline, teamwork, and creativity. Whether playing in a school band or organizing music events, I've learned how to bring people together toward a common goal.

Passionate about amplifying underrepresented voices and fueled by ambition, Zarif strives to create meaningful change by ensuring that all students, regardless of their circumstances, have the opportunity to thrive. Through his advocacy, he aims to redefine inclusivity, not just as a principle, but as a lived reality for every student.

    Hi! My name is Sophia. I’m a year 10 student in Queensland, Australia.

    Here are a few things about me, I am an active student leader and a passionate advocate for student voices. With four years on the student voice team, I strive to ensure that young people feel heard in both schools and everyday life. Through my involvement in the Lions Youth Club and Lions Youth Public Speaking program, I continue to develop the skills needed to create meaningful change. Additionally, I dedicate my time to various school and extra-curricular programs, including Art Club, Interact (a student-led organization team), STEM Club, Japanese tutoring, Science tutoring, Southern’s Music Program, Environmental club, Southern Cross’s school netball team, the open netball team, the volleyball open team, and volunteering at the school's Open Day. My goal is to empower my generation to become the next changemakers, proving that every voice has the power to shape a better future!

    Ruby is  in year 11 at a small rural high school on the far north coast of nsw. She is a highly  determined,motivated and hardworking student who strives to improve and advocate for student wellbeing and student voice with a particular focus on closing the gap between rural, regional and metro students in educational performance . Ruby is honoured to be a part of this Student Advisory Board and the impactful positive change that comes from  advocating for student voice. As  the Chairperson of The Ministers Student Council (DOVES), Ruby has been apart of and helped implement key council initiatives lighting the path for positive change in the NSW public education system. Ruby is also a talented musician who enjoys performing and playing sports such as soccer and tennis in her spare time.

She enjoys playing cello, participating in debates, and staying active through sports. In her spare time, she is committed to volunteering, supporting various community initiatives and helping those in need. Helena believes in the power of education, diplomacy, and cultural awareness to create a more inclusive and connected world. Through her involvement in several student leaderships and community services, she hopes to inspire change, foster understanding, and empower young voices across Australia.
